Back in March I met up with this sweet couple at Red Rock Wilderness Overlook Park for a chilly engagement session. 

Jenn and Jeremy love books and it's something that they've bonded over during the course of their relationship. So naturally we had to stack up the pile of books they brought to set the ring on!

The ground was SOAKED pretty much everywhere we went! Jeremy carried Jennifer from location to location to avoid ruining her gorgeous suede shoes! He also sacrificed some of his old shoes for her to wear in the mud! You would never know these two were freezing and avoiding mud in their pictures. 

Congratulations Jenn and Jeremy! I loved meeting y'all and can't wait to see pictures from your Colorado wedding!

Burnside Farms | Family Session

Things have been a bit quiet over here on my blog lately! I've been pretty busy this spring, which is a GREAT thing! I've been photographing some fun families and I can't wait to share what all I've been up to!

Today in Northern Virginia it's gloomy and rainy, so I thought it would be the perfect day to share some pictures I took last week at Burnside Farms of the CUTEST kiddos. They were so easy to photograph and really made my job easy, plus the weather was amazing, and the flowers were just stunning. That all added up to the perfect session. 

Oh Baby! | Gender Reveal

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending, and photographing, the cutest gender reveal party I've ever been to! Every little detail was thought through and the entire party was just darling. 

The gender was to be revealed with either pink or blue confetti. And I should note, the family already has FOUR girls, so everyone was anxious to discover if this baby would make girl #5 or boy #1! 

This day was just so full of joy and excitement for this sweet girl. I cannot wait to meet this new baby!

The Sebring Family | Baby #3!

Y'all, I just don't have words to describe how fun this session was! When Lane and Rachel found out they were having girl number THREE they knew they wanted a fun way to announce the pregnancy and gender all at once. Rachel's sister in law is a talented florist (She Blooms) and made the sweetest flower crowns for the two big girls to wear, and for Rachel to hold over baby girl number three! Their girls Olive & Isla were just adorable as always, and we had some gorgeous sunlight that day! All of those things combined to create a beautiful session, and one of my favorite family sessions to date! Enjoy!
